well, i heard that there was a nine year old that needed a home because she had become very happy since her mom and dad had two kids. i responded and found out she is not the "typical" tortie as she is a cuddlebug and lap cat. i am very excited to meet her. i've exchanged numerous emails and phone calls with the owner, telling her upfront how my home is and sending her pictures and being very detailed. she thinks shelby would be happy with me and feels most comfortable turning her over to me. she is going to get her vaccinated then we'll wait a day or two for her to "recover" as she gets very stressed at the vet and we don't want her to associate that with me. so i am just waiting for the vet to squeeze her in and eventually they will bring her to my home. i am already planning low stress ways of gaining her trust and getting her adjusted to the new environment..going to take it VERY SLOWLY.
anyway, here she is in all her glory..i'm so excited!!!!

congratulations!
she is gorgeous girl! what do you mean that she has become very 'happy'?

it's great that she's a cuddly girl, my tortie does not do cuddles unless she feels like it.

I'll bet that's a typo, and she meant "unhappy."

She is certainly a very pretty cat.

She's gorgeous
Best of luck with her
We adopted a 9 year old too, Mario, his family didn't have time for him anymore
Anyway, he fits in great, and it's like he's ALWAYS been here
