but I don't think we talked about applesauce! Lol! Anyway, does anyone know how long applesauce is good for after it is opened? I opened a jar of applesauce a while ago (at least a month) and it has been in the fridge, no mold, no funny smells, but I didn't know if it would still be good. Anyone know?

I love applesauce! haha

If it's store bought and has preservatives, it should last awhile... I always go by the visual/smell test and if it passes both, I'll taste some and if it tastes ok, I eat it.... hasn't hurt me yet.... homemade applesauce though won't have preservatives and large quantities should be frozen (I LOVE homemade applesauce)

And in my case, applesauce is the most ultimate hangover food.... gets the blood sugar back up and then I eat "normal" food lol

It's probably okay... most anything that goes wrong with applesauce grows.

Then again, applesauce rarely lasts the night in my house... on account of drinking it from the bottle...

That's basically me haha I the family puts a big bowl of applesauce out for dinner (like a nice dinner) there's no putting the leftover back in the jar, it just gets passed to me and gobbled up (yes, using the big serving spoon too haha)
