My Dads Cat has to wait until August to get Fixed

They told him its on done on certain days of the week. It will be done on Aug 6th which is my Dads Bday. Have any of you had to wait that long? I always use the Vet so get in fast.

If he is using a low cost clinic yes a wait is normal .. I think here it is 6-8 weeks on ave ... at my vet it could be a week or two as she only does them on mon wed and fri

Its the Spca and its only done on Weds they said.

I've had to wait a few weeks sometimes - but I just make sure there is NO way that girl can get outside Ling would have been spayed sooner, but she came into heat about the time she was supposed to go and I just waited and set up another appointment a few weeks later.

My Dads girl is fixed so that isnt a problem. This is a male kitten that was found with 9 other kittens about a month ago.

I think if you're using the ASPCA or any other low-cost/free organization, there usually is a wait, and only certain days that they'll do the speutering.
