So I'm currently using sophisticat and I just redid Mitzys litter tray and almost died from the dust it kicked up. We've had to vacate into the living room while it settles. *coughs and splutters* anyone know a more breathing friendly litter?

most of the clay-based litters are dusty, altho the more premium brands tend to be a bit less so. don't know what brands y'all have over there...
for non-clay, i've heard Swheat Scoop is kinda dusty [wheat based litter]. otoh, World's Best Cat Litter [corn based] doesn't seem to be [i've actually used that one].
hopefully, some UKers will give you some more info!

I like the Catsan litter. I use their clumping litter and it clumps really well, helps with smells and isn't very dusty. I mean it's a bit dusty, all clay litters are but it's never even close to the dustiness of some of the other litters I've tried.

They also have a hygene litter which was even less dusty if I remember correctly but that had slightly bigger particles rather than the more fine smooth granules in the clumping litter so Nikita didn't like it as much and I switched back to the clumping one.

I love Nature's Miracle. It's 100% natural and corn based, but does not track yellow paw prints or anything. There is no dust to it. It clumps very well, and does a pretty good job of covering poop odors. And to top it off, it's flushable

isn't catsan the one with the advert where the little white kitten can't actually find the litter tray? Very bad advertising on that litter :p
