Bay Area Get Together

A group of us TCSers who live in the Bay Area are getting together for dinner Sat., Aug. 16th at 5:30 at the Peasant and the Pear in Danville.

That sounds like so much fun! Unfortunately I'm quite a way from there. But if I ever make it out that way I plan on making a point of meeting up with people

It will be fun. I have met other people before. Some were not even from California. I have been looking at the menu trying to decide what I want. My Sister wants to go but she just started her Job a week ago so she can not ask for a day off. They keep giving her thurs and Fri off. She is the one with the Rat that died.

Hmmm... I've been meaning to come back down for family... and my sister is dying for my old sewing machine... I wonder if I could finagle that trip to be around that time...

I'll get back to you on that...

Of course, MY trip to SF area is the weekend before It's the annual Mammoth Lakes group going to see the Giants v. LA Dodgers. Guess I'll just have to look forward to the pics

Well, it's not such a long drive, is it? Maybe we can get the Giants and the Dodgers to reschedule just for us! Must be at least one cat lover on both those teams.

She is in Bakersfield which is 3 hours south of me.

I'm new to the cat site, and I'd love to go especially since I'm so close, but unfortunately, I'll be on vacation on that day.

Will be watching the site for the next one.

I live in Castro Valley, not far from my daughter, Janet (BelongsToEvie). It's her fault I got started on this site! I love it, too! It's a great break from my homework.

I can't wait for the next one.
