Her whiskers are really long and beautiful.

She is so lucky that you are bringing her into your life.
I am so happy for you.

Yup , she was not taken care of very well. The mats were so bad they had to shave her.

I am glad you are taking her in to care for her like her previous owners never did. Such a shame to let a beautiful cat like Grace get mats so bad that she had to be shaved!

I'm very excited for you..

Hi Luvmyfurbabys!

I got your PM last night just before I got off the computer for the night so I didn't have time to reply to it then.
Grace is a cutie!
I hope you post lots of photos of her after she settles in at home.
Can I ask which shelter you adopted her from?
I was volunteering at my local shelter yesterday and we have a Gracie cat up for adoption there.
Maybe it's the same cat you are adopting today, that would be great!

That's great that you went to adopt one cat and came home with two.

Now you will have to post twice as many photos of both of your new kitties!

The shelter I volunteer at is on the opposite side of the state so I guess I won't be bumping into you at the shelter anytime soon.

Two precious kitties are no longer looking for loving homes.

Congratulations on your new family members.

Welcome to your new home, Gracie and Bridget.

I've already posted Gracie's story in a different thread . Bridget has had quite a time of it in her 3 years of life.

She was owned by a man who's GF brought her into shelter pregnant ( without the man knowing it ) When the man started looking for her he found that she was in foster care with her babies. The man left his GF and adopted Bridget back , not long later he died. The mans son got the house and the cat.... then he lost the house and moved in with his GF , his GF couldn't have pets , so she ended up back in shelter. Bridget has been in and out ( mostly in ) this shelter since 2006.

She is Amazing .... shes in my room all over my bed letting everyone pet her. If I had been tossed around that much I might have given up on people.

I cant wait for Gracie to feel better and warm up I know it takes time and she just was spay.... I cant wait to get to know her too.

That's amazing news that you now have TWO beautiful new additions to your home
Looking forward to more pix and stories of Gracie and miracle mom Bridget! Bridget sure had a terrible life so far, being tossed around like a football. I'm glad she's so well adjusted though.. She sounds like an absolute sweetie
