Bird know it alls needed with adult swift

hey guys yep you gessed it yet again a poor little thing has found me and needs some help...
My SO was out and found a cat chasing a gorunded swift..
these birds need too be airborn
soooo ive read up and got a towel on the side of a large cardboard box...
so its sat on that ive got it taking water, but how on earth do i get flies for it?
it eats flies and spiders... spiders are no trouble...
but there are no bird rescues by me..
this guys no trouble for me too care for till its ready..
heeeelps me please

If they have to be alive you could leave old cat food out for them to eat, and get ready with your net


If they have to be dead you could use those sticky fly papers. Yuk

you could try one of those electric fly zappers, maybe even put one outside. Every once and a while, you go pick up some dead bugs from below to feed to your bird.

The only problem with these is even though they kill the bad mugs, like flies and mosquitoes, they also kill many beneficial bugs. So, if you use this method, I would say use it with discretion, especially outside, and when you don't need bugs turn it off. I hate to think of all those dragonflies/other good bugs being killed by bug zappers!

i got fly sticky thingys that arent toxic,
its taking alot of work but hes attempting too fly soo time will tell,

thanks guys i have pics ill upload later tommorow

the bird is still doing well and all rescues ive rang are trying there damdest not too take it on!

ahh well i love the likkle monster...
hes got a biig padded area where the cats arent allowed and severa bits of wood with towels on so it can practise flying (were only getting wing flaps...)

pics will be with ya in a few minits
