Hiya

My name is Angie and I am new to the forum. I wanted to introduce myself. I adopted a 3 month old black female kitten yesterday, so I will probably be hanging around a lot.

Here is a picture of her. I've named her Luna, after much deliberation. She's very playful and affectionate. The lady I got her from said she was 12 weeks, but she seems quite small to me...Is it just me, or does she look that way to anyone else? She feels a little bonier than other kittens I've had. I gave her Iams kitten dry food yesterday(which is what she had been being fed), and she hardly touched it, but today I gave her some Iams kitten pate, and she wolfed it down.

I would appreciate any advice anyone has. I am in love with her already and I want her to grow up as healthy as possible! Thank you!

Does she have a lot of kitten energy?
Has Luna has a vet check yet?

Oh she's lovely! I'm sorry, I can't help with any of your questions as I got my first cat yesterday too ^_^ But she is so lovely. Maybe she didn't eat the first lot of food because she was so nervous having been separated from her family for the first time?

If she feels skinny, she probably is. And some cats just don't like dry food.

Did you name her after Luna Lovegood?

I got Stuart at roughly 8 weeks old. He looked terrible and was awfuly skinny. Just keep her fed, get her to the vet (if you haven't already), and she'll be fine!
