Well I am up doing my early morning routine! I have a busy day ahead of me! My hubby will be home for the weekend so I wont be on much in the next few days! My best friend turned 40 today! She is so cute pouting saying "I am old as dirt" almost sounding babyish! I know she is playing because she is the happiest she has been in her whole life and looks beautiful in my eyes! I tell her all the time!

it's a beautiful day here (finally!) I can hear the birds singing and the sun is shining. only 1 more day until the weekend!

:eye&mouth

I have a work dinner I'm suppose to go to tonight so it's going to be a long day. we have a car picking us up from work so I'm not even going to be able to go home first (no time) so I won't be home until somewhere around 12:30 or so tonight

anybody have any plans for the holiday weekend? we're going to go to this thing called the 'HFSesival' it's the WHFS festival & it last 2 days & they will have like 25 different bands. we're going on sunday. it's a HUGE deal here. they usually have like 30,000 people. it's at a stadium. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I'm only going b/c we have backstage passes. it's just too hot, too crowded, too dirty to do it any other way. the back stage area is like this huge space where they have tents set up w/tvs so you can watch what's going on stage, (in fact you can even stand on the side of the stage, or up on this platform & look down at the stage or at the crowd, it's absolutely incredible. I once stood up there next to Ellen Degeneres & Anne Heche & watched Melissa Etheridge perform, yes it was a benefit to promote equality) couches to relax on, food tents (and it's all free) and there isn't any crowd. once you do it that way it's impossible to ever do it the other way. I'm very very spoiled, but I make a supreme effort to never take it for granted. everytime I appreciate it like it's the first time I've ever done it.

anyway that is our only plan! oh ya and maybe see Shrek.

Well this is my last day before I start to mind my grandaughter again. My daughter was off for a month after college and now starts a summer full time job. She is only 3 1/2 so she keeps me busy. Thankgoodness I am still a reasonably young and healthy "gammy" as she calls me

Well, I'm feeling better today. I wasn't feeling to owell yesterday. Nothing particular, just an overall drowsiness and dizziness.

What holiday is it this weekend? Hubby will be spending Saturday in New York, so I want to tell him if there's anything special. I do miss him so much
! He's been away for 3 nights, so only 4 more nights to go....

Good morning everybody!

I finally got my you-know-what out of bed after sleeping almost 10 hours. I worked a double shift yesterday and was totally pooped. I'm glad the weekend is almost here. Not a heck of alot planned. I have to go to Rene's house with her vacuum cleaner (mine is broken) and a kitty named Dakota who's been hiding under my bed since Sunday night. He only comes out when I'm out of the room. I don't know HOW I'm gonna get him out from under the bed by Saturday.

Anyway, I am a little flabbergasteed this morning. I called Petco to see about a job I applied for. I had to take this stupid test (sort of like an honesty test - asks you if someone was caught borrowing money and putting it back when they got paid, do ya think they should be fired? kind of test). Well it seems I failed. Don't know why and the manager wouldn't tell me. She said I could re-take it in 3 months. I need the job NOW. So I'm going over to Pet Supplies Plus.

Have a great day everyone. I'll be back on the site later. Hope you're feeling better Anne. (Hmmmmmm - dizziness and drowsiness??? Any nausea??? Cravings for pickles and ice cream maybe???)

Hugs,

Donna

Good morning? How about good night! I am very glad that me life is calming down. This site is so busy these days, I may have to quit my day job just to keep up!

Things are very abnormal at school. I cannot wait for this year to be over. My 2 colleagues and I had another student suspended today on a violence-type charge. Then there was a bomb threat 5 minutes before dismissal. This is nuts! Things have NEVER been like this before.
