One big happy family!!

I thought I would share a special moment with cat lovers who appreciate pictures like this. Mom, Dad and the 8 babies in bed together. Dad isn't grumpy, he's just wondering what I'm doing spying on him LOL. The kitten with his mouth open isn't crying, he's yawning Oh yes, and Dad is patchy right now for some reason, I think he molted in spring a bit, and he's waiting for it to come back LOL

I love a paternal cat. They look so cute with the mom and babies. Does he clean and play with them?

OMG! That is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. What an awesome male cat you have. It makes you wonder about cats and if their natural state is to be a family but with the crisis of cat homelessness has not disrupted their natural inclination.
Please more pictures. It makes my day to see one intact kitty family.

KrazyKat, yes he cleans their bottoms...and thoroughly I might add. He doesn't stop until he's done all of them. He then cleans their tails and backs too. It is too cute to watch really. It does make me happy that he's taken an active part in the raising of the babies. I've seen this behavior before in male cats that we had when I was a kid.

CC, I will get some more pics up of Dad in their bed with them. I am glad he's doing this because next week they'll be all over the room running, and I hope he plays with them in a nice way. It will be all supervised play of course LOL.
