There are white cockatoos bickering on a lampost outside my house. These are not native to Singapore so my guess is that they escaped from someone's house or a pet shop. Sorry no pix cos my camera was not able to zoom quite that far.

Its 8:16 am on a Saturday morning and these two are making quite a din! Other people may take offence, but I certainly don't mind. Watching them brought a smile to my face, and I thought I'd share

Oh this is funny. The birds were quarrelling, and woke the neighbour's dog who started barking at them. Immediately both went silent and glared at the dog quite reproachfully

That's quite something, cockatoos make amongst the loudest noises in the bird kingdom! Can you tell which species they are? Salmon crested (Moluccan) are usually one of the loudest (if they are mostly white then they are some other species), but they are all noisy when they shriek! Very intelligent birds.

I'm not really sure what kind they are. could be sulphur crested cos those are the ones I see quite often around here. From that distance I could not really see.
