What is 'soon' - cats, like babies, can get dehydrated awfully quickly when their bowels aren't cooperating, so even a few days might be vital. I'd maybe give the vet a call and see what timeframe they'd allow before coming in, and what they might recommend as a 'calming diet'. Good luck - I get nervous when mine even poop a few hours late

I would, especially if it's just started happening?.

When Sophie was little she had an upset tummy the week before her spay so it had to be cancelled until the following week. She was given a paste that i had to squirt in her mouth twice a day that was something similar to those pro biotic drinks that have good bacteria in to settle the gut.

I asked the vet how she got like that as she's an inside cat, but he said it's something that i could have brought in the house with me and she could have sniffed and licked my shoes?. Since that day my shoes are the first thing that come off before i walk in the livinghroom

that's fine if he doesn't continue to have the diarrhea... but if it continues, he can dehydrate really quickly. if he still has it in the morning, i'd take him in before that. they could probably move your appointment up so that he could get his booster, etc. at the same time.
