I need help with my new cat

I just got a new male flame point siamese cat. He is 1 year. This is my first time since childhood having a cat. The problem is every time I try to walk around he swirls around me and between my legs constantly. Is there anything I can do to make this stop? I give him lots of attention otherwise and he is a very sweet cat. Also he is not neutered which I will be taking care of very soon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think he really really loves you!!!! I think he's just trying to mark you with his scent, to show everyone you are his human -- honestly, I think it's a sign of affection.

Siamese are very people oriented and tend to want to stick close. Not a lot you really can do - he just wants attention

BTW in the siamese its not called "flame point" - its called Red Point (flame point is for himalayans)

This is just a sign of affection/attachment. It means he likes you! Most cats will do this when you come home from being out for a while, but some like to be near you whenever you're moving around. Not much you can do to stop it...but why would you want to?

Just try picking him up and giving him some lovins' when he does it!!

Siamese do act that way.
