I have a BIG 10 month old neutered VERY spoiled 4 legged friend. I'm thinking about getting an 8 week old bottle fed female(that will be spayed asap). My question is.....is this a wise move? will Buster(the 10 month old)take to the new dependent kitten without to much fuss? I have had cats and dogs together and I know it can be done, I've just never had a cat that has been so clingy...so to speak. he isn't overweight the dr. says he's just BIG! HELP

Cats, especially younger ones tend to adjust to new members faster. If you know you want 2 cats in the house then give it a go. Just introduce them slowly by seperating them. It is a good idea to put a new kitten in a seperate room anyway. Just for the germ factor. I would put the new kitten in a room and let the older one sniff under the door. Get them used to each other scents first.
