Last thursday i brought my cat to the vet because he was having diarrhea. His temperature was 103.8 and was sent home with anti-diarrhea meds and orbax(anti biotic) to give 1x a day. The next day my other cat had diarrhea as well and his third eyelid was showing. Brought him to the vet his temp was 104. Sent home with clavamox to give 2x a day. It's a week later, the first cat seems to be doing better (still needs to finish his orbax) but the other looked worse. I brought him to the vet with a stool sample and his temp was 106. Vet ran blood tests, wont find out whats wrong until tomorrow afternoon. Gave baytril instead of the clavamox. I have the two cats together in one room because i have three cats and i dont want anything to happen to the 3rd (<--good idea or no?, i only have 2 enclosed rooms i dont have anywhere to keep all 3 separated). So i was wondering if anyone had any idea what it could be? Somebody give me some hope, please im praying they done have aids or something. Im going crazy, my poor babies

Also, the 2nd cat got out of the house for 12 hours in the fall...theres alot of strays where i live and they hang out under the building--he came crawling out underneath it. Could he have been harboring any virus for this long?

I would keep them seperated. It was to late when my Meeko had the 105 fever last Jan. They had all been in the same room except Coco but she got sick also. Whats strange is Sasha never got it and Oreo had a slightly runny nose. Give the Baytril time to work but watch him.
