I've tried everything to get her to use it, but she won't. She'll do her business everywhere BUT in the litterbox. I haven't had any problems with the other kittens, except in the beginning when they were first being trained. Cassidy refuses to learn..

Does anyone have any suggestions??

Have you tried Cat Attract litter or the additive? Dirt (messy, but sometimes works)? Has she been tested for a UTI/vet checked, to rule anything out? Stools loose at all?

Yes, I've tried the Cat Attract. I bought some when I brought Salem into the house (the Mama cat) and was trying to train her. Of course, she decided to use the litterbox the day after I ordered the stuff..

There's not anything wrong with her as far as poohing & peeing is concerned: she goes just fine, and there's no diarrhea. She is physically handicapped (a birth defect): I don't know if that's causing her problems or not.
She runs & plays just as well as the other kittens, and isn't in any pain...

What is her physical defect? That could well be the issue, if she cannot physicall get into the box readily....

This is what I was thinking. Try something with a low spot for her to get in. I know chance are it will make a mess, but it's better than her going outside the box. I know Dog & ferret litter boxes tend to have lower sides.

She has a "defective" back leg which isn't right, and it caves in on her slightly when she walks.
But she doesn't have any problems with it when she's running & playing, and it doesn't cause her any pain. She was born breech, and I think her leg got twisted somehow when she was born..

There a three litterboxes in the house: one of which is fairly high, but the other two are only about three inches high - so I know she can get into them. She also can jump onto higher places, like onto the couch or a chair. So I know she isn't having any problems getting into the litterboxes. She just won't do it for some reason. She may be one of those "fussy" cats who doesn't like sharing a litterbox..

How many other cats do you have? If you have more cats than litterboxes she might not want to share with them. The general "rule" I've heard is one litterbox per cat, plus one.

First get her checked by a vet - she could have UTI. If that's not the problem, then she needs to be confined to one room with a litter pan, food/water all on a washable surface. If you have no washable surface, confine her to a large dog crate/cage till she uses it 100%.
