This was also on FOX. I was startled about how paranoid people can be. What do you think?

I think the park staff should have tossed those idiots out who called him a "pervert."
Someone who is there enjoying himself with his family in good faith, taking pictures of his kids playing has a right to do so without being publicly insulted by someone who obviously has a screw loose/

Reminds me of the time a group of people mistook a paediatrician for a paedophile.

The world would be a better place to live in if people minded their own business.

Well, I can see the reasoning: the article mostly talks about other parents' worries over their children being photographed, not necessarily that the father is a pervert. That's a legit concern, IMO. My brother was told to put his camera away last year when he took my niece to the swimming pool, as other parents didn't want their children to be photographed. I know that if I saw a man (sad, that you wouldn't think twice if it was a woman) with a camera in an area with children, I'd be suspicious, and if I had a kid there, I'd be nervous and concerned and I'd probably hoof it outta there. The photographer could be the nicest, most innocent guy in the world, but there's no way for the average park-goer there to really know that.

It was on breakfast news again this morning.

The worlds gone mad!. Fair enough kick off if someones purposely pointing the camera lens at your child, but not when it's your own.

My friends daughter teaches 7 year olds, and she said that if they go swimming their no longer able to help the children get dried off properly just in case!

Political correctness yet again

If I remember correctly, the guy was able to prove to the other people in the park that he only had pics of his kids and the people still flipped out on him.

sad it is, i know of several such tales.
the one where the women lost her kids for several months cause she took pic of them in the bath tub. one new born one 3 years old together.

once my sister was over the house, with my niece and one of her friends. They where out playing in the snow. Well they ran in, shoes off and headed upstaris, they yelled fro my sister to come help them out of the snow suites cause they need to use the bathroom.

sis had her hands full of cooking junk , asked me to go .
told her no way, She got made at me, I told her bottom line, if the other girl tells her mom, that katie uncle help undress me, i would be going to jail, so forget it..

lol my sister is still made at me today.

See what society has done to us!

Good grief!!! What is up with people??? Some people can just be so rude and snobby. Only a few years ago that would have been no big deal. I think the woman running the slide started the whole thing, and I don't think anyone else would have said anything had she kept her paranoid mouth shut.

The poor family... they showed his pic on that article and it was a good pic of just his kids! I just can't believe it.

People need to take a collective deep breath and stop being paranoid. If you are that afraid then don't go to public places with your children.
