Like that lady who went to jail for microwaving her new born baby......
People who are like that should just fall off the planet.

People who can do this sort of thing really get my goat. Treating a living animal as something to play around with this way shows there's just a piece of humanity missing in them. I can only hope it was immaturity, not outright cruelty, that made someone do this.

I hope they were disappointed by the results (maybe they expected the cat to explode, thanks to some awful TV show or movie or foolish urban myth) and have some time to think about how the cat looked and felt when they pulled it out. Maybe they learned an important lesson. One could hope.

These are the situations where I wish America had the "eye for an eye" rule... we need to find a way to make it law in certain situations... poor kitty

Good God!!!

Things like this make me want to throw up. How in the world could somebody do such a thing????

Its bringing so many tears to my eyes, all I can do is picture its face.

Some people just don't deserve to live

That makes me so mad.

i CANNOT believe it. This is horrible, its an outrage! Who the heck would do something like that?! If I could just get my hands on these people and just have 5 minutes alone with them ... Their own mothers wouldn't recognise them after I'm done with them I don't even care if I'm "stooping down to their level" .

That poor sweet baby

I hope they rot in hell!

One of the saddest and worst things I have ever seen:

I cannot believe someone would do this, yet its great news that the cat is ok and will recover. I hope he gets a good home.

Sick, very sick.
I'm going to have to disagree about the part where the guy says that people that do things like this are not people who go home to families... the most well known psychopaths were charismatic and their neighbors never suspected a thing...

OK, I saw the title of the article and couldn't bring myself to read it. I'm so glad the kitty is OK.

You're so right. I can't believe this man sad that, when it's been proven time and time again that the sickest people are actually the quiet, "nice" ones that you'd never suspect.

I really can't believe someone did this. I try not to let my anger get the best of me because I know God has something "special" planned for people that hurt the animals He charged us with taking care of, but I just can't help it sometimes. There are some real SICK and derranged people out there.

Ok, I'm done vomiting now. Everytime I see a thread like this I tell myself I'm not going to read, but I do. This is so horrifying beyond words. Everyone who's posted a reply has already said what I'm thinking. Sickening beyond imagination. How could someone look that little guy in the eyes and do that??? There is definitely some brain growth missing from that person.

On a good note (believe it or not) the little one is recovering. You have to watch the video that is posted a few replies up on the Boston Channel. So adorable and he was running around playing! And, as long as these stories are still getting coverage there is still hope that justice will be served to people who do these things. Is there an activist group that we could help grow? If enough people yell we'll be heard and some legislation may get passed.

They have three horribly injured cats right now. One was burned in a fire, one was thrown out a 3 story window and the poor microwaved kitty.....they also listed that they need more donations because they are getting more and more drop offs because of the economy.

I think it is money well spent! I don't have room for anymore so I spend the money I would have on another animal and donate....I am probably helping many more by doing this than by adopting more. Something to think about!

My heart breaks for these poor animals. But isn't it amazing how they can learn to trust again and some of them become the BEST pets.!

I have no words to say what I feel.

Some people are basically psychopaths. I would be very concerned about any person who was able to do that. What happens when they "graduate" to people.
