Update and 3 day olds...Cuteness Warning!!

Great news! Starting last night Buttons has become a GREAT mom!!! She spent most of the night in the box with her babies and hasnt left them much at all today!! I dont have to sit there and make her nurse them anymore
( even though I sit there mostly to watch anyway cause I cant help it )

Reading all the posts about all these large litters lately I am soooo glad that she only had the 2 cause honestly I dont know how thoes momma's and us keep thoes little ones from fighting over the same nipple ...........These 2 both ALWAYS fight over the same one!!!
I have been weighing them daily and they are both gaining weight!

Anyway, caught a few shots of them here snuggling with momma ....I am so proud and relieved that she is caring for them they way she should!!

Awww, they are so darling! Mom looks so happy with them and they look content. I am pleased with the outcome of Buttons and her confusion with it all, but it turned out the way it should....Momma and babies snug as can be together.

Yes, my 8 cuties all fight over boobs, but they do take shifts now--some sleep while the others nurse...gives me time to play and hold them. I am going to post pics here right away of them today at 2 weeks old

So cute! I'm so glad that she is looking after her babies. That first picture of the little on her/his back is so adorable! And the last one it looks like she is sleeping face to face with one.

They are so adorable and cant wait for their eyes to open up. The little tabby (?) seems to be trying to open his eyes up a little bit here so i dont think it'll be to long.

Yep..keeping them both. We live on an acreage so we have lots of room and I dont think I could give them up anyway

Sooo we will have 2 dogs and 5 cats. The dogs havent met the kittens yet and I dont really plan on it cause they are outside dogs and BIG dogs at that. We have a Bullmastiff and a Rottie......so they could inflict alot of damage even though they'd just want to play, but their play is a bit to ruff lol
