Bea is, unfortunately, like 15 lbs. 15 lbs is the weight limit fro cat + carrier, or Bea might just have hitched a ride!
(I have photos of Joshua sitting in my open suitcase as I would pack for a cat show after I began showing another kitty than he...he SO wanted to go...they are adorable photos...my sweet bumblecurl

Suitcases are so much fun...mine's been out for a few days...apparently makes a lovely kitty bed as I find PJ, Punky, & their Uncle Dorian all piled on it in the AM.
She looks like she is already to go!!
