I need help

Hi:

I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum, but I need help. I have a female cat named Oreo, she is 5 months old and I think she is in heat. I've never had a cat in heat, my other female cat was spayed before she went into heat. I've been trying to get a home for this kitty, but since nobody wants her, I'm going to keep her. I was planning to have her spayed on August, since I can't take care of her right now because of work, I don't know what to do, I have her inside right now, there are so many cats in the neighborhood that I can't let her go outside.

How long does the heat last? I don't want her getting pregnant.

It depends on the Cat. Some can be in heat for weeks. My Coco could not be fixed because it wasnt safe for her. She still goes in heat even though she is 16. Her heat last between 5-7 days and she dosent go in alot now that she is older. Make her stay inside until Aug. I also have a Oreo. Is yours black and white also.

Thanks so much for your help. I will see if I can get my Oreo spayed after the 21 of July. I will keep her inside until them.

Yes, my Oreo is black and white also I just recently decided to keep her, i was taking care of her and trying to find her a new home, but nobody wants her, so I will keep her, I love her so much! I will introduce her to the forums right now and I will add her to my signature soon.

I cant wait to see her. mine has some problems but is ok. She has fcks and will be 1 on Aug 29th. I wasnt going to take her at first either. I posted som eof my Oreo below yours.
