de-wormer not doing it's job

my kitten has gotten two de-wormer's from the vet with her shots. And they don't seem to be working.

I still keep seeing little white worms crawling out of her. Is there maybe something else we should be doing?

The dewormer would expel worms from the body, so you probably would see some. Of course, if they are wriggling then maybe there is a problem! I would think any worms expelled after a deworming would be dead. Probably should give your vet a call and ask about it.

I would for sure call the Vet and tell her/him what you've seen. Perhaps your cat needs another type of dewormer. You don't want your cat to have worms so getting rid of them is important.

Hi, I read both your threads. It's possible your vet dewormed your kitten for one type of worms (you mentioned hookworms) but may have to give her a different medicine to take care of a different worm, eg tapeworm.

Make sure you change the litter a lot,
and vacuum everything because they can get reinfected.
You should maybe see if she has a different type of worms than you originally thought
