Well tonight i went to my first PBR (professional bull riding) event ever! I had a blast, i can't believe someone would risk their life to ride a bull. And tonight some of the riders and bullfighters got hit pretty good. All i can say is WOW!!

So what did you do tonight??

Hubby & I sat around outside at the picnic table having a beer with some of his brothers and their wives and laughing/talking until the mosquitos were eating us all alive, then Hubby and I came inside, ordered a pizza and watched "The Cleaner" DVD. Hubby went to bed around 11:00 and I logged in here to see what was going on. Now it is after 1 AM and I think I am going to go to bed.

Sat on my butt and watched the Red Sox and the race (after tanning in my pool and catching some of the Phillies game and bits of the Soul game) lol - kept it a low key weekend this week... most weekend's I hit the bar with my cousin though or am at a concert or something - gotta save money by doin nothing sometimes

PBR is awesome and it used to come to my school (Penn State) but no one ever wanted to go with this little redneck at heart girl haha maybe one day I'll see it live though

I worked 2-8:30 and then went bowling. After bowling, we went to Wal Mart and picked up a few things and came home and finished watching a movie that we started yesterday.

I went on a motorcycle ride, came home and played my bass, talked on the phone, and now I'm reading. Nothing too out of the ordinary!

I had a thrilling evening! I spent it sorting and organizing computer files in preparation of burning them to DVD. Now I'm burning DVD's.

Don't know if I can stand all of this excitement!

We went out to celebrate my birthday, and that of one of my wife's coworker's husband. First we had dinner at the Mexican Inn Cafe, which is an out-of-the-ordinary Tex-Mex restaurant. They got started a long time ago in downtown Fort Worth, and their food is good but a little different from run-of-the-mill.

Then we went to the dirt track races in Kennedale. It's been a couple years since we went over there. This is truly one of those experiences you have to have to be a "real southern male."

Last night the husband-half and I went to O'Charley's for dinner (Saturdays are our date night). We both got a 12oz Louisiana sirloin ...
SOO GOOD. With mashed potatoes and rolls, and a house salad with balsamic vinaigrette (he had honey mustard on his salad). I ordered a strawberry margarita, and it was MASSIVE!! First margarita I've ever had, pretty good
He had a Captain & Coke.

Then we came home and watched Die Hard 2. I've never seen any of the Die Hard movies, so we bought the 4-pack of DVDs and watched the first one a couple weeks ago on date night.

Not just a real southern man, but also a Jersey girl who's real southern at heart!

We have a dirt track in Bridgeport and I've gone with my dad, but really it's his "Saturday night guy thing" with his buddy Bob, so I don't go that much cuz I don't want to ruin his fun lol But I do love going when I do get to go!
