Don't lose hope though. My kitty is an inside kitty, and he got out once and we didn't see him for TWO MONTHS!! We put an ad in the paper and looked all over for him, but didn't find him We thought he was gone forever. This was in the middle of winter in Wisconsin too. It was snowy and cold. Then one day, he wandered into the garage and started scratching at the door, and there he was!!

He was all skinny and his fur was all dirty But he was okay! He went straight to the food and water bowls. He was very weak for a while but he made a full recovery. The vet said he had no lasting damage.

To this day we still have no idea where he went. We think he may have gotten stuck somewhere, like wandered into someone's shed or garage and got stuck there.

We had already gotten another kitten, not to replace him of course but just b/c we were very sad and wanted another kitty. Then he came back and now we have three kitties But my point is that kitties have a way of finding their way home, if my house-cat can come home after 2 months outside in the middle of a wisconsin winter, I'm sure yours can too!

Sorry to hear about Marcel! I just went through the same thing, and thankfully, Felix found his way home, and I hope Marcel does to!

I had been somewhat sceptical about the force of positive thoughts in changing things beyond our control, but I'm convinced now that it can work!

It is so strange 'cuz I have 4 other house cats, yet the house feels empty without Marcel and his huge personality.
