My kitten Nola is incontinent and can't control her bowl movements. Today when I went to wipe her there was a noticeable amount of blood on the wipe.

I'm taking her to the vet on Monday, but in the mean time does anyone know what this could be from?

there are really too many things to name... you might try a bland diet [not sure how old Nola is...] w/boiled chicken & rice, maybe some pumpkin [not pie filling, tho - straight canned pumpkin]. if it gets worse & she becomes dehydrated or starts vomiting, then i'd say e-vet.

Did you just bring her home recently? If so it may be tapeworm, which the vet can treat very readily.

Could be lots of things, but I think the most common would be worms.

Have you recently changed anything in her diet? Are you feeding her the same thing she was eating at the place you got her from? Did this just start or has it been going along ever since you first brought her home?

In my experience, blood in stool normally means parasites. But, dietary indiscretion can also cause it if the system gets irritated from the diarrhea if it is frequent.

She does have worms. the long skinny white kind. I just didn't know that caused bloody poop.

she got a de-wormer not too long ago. Is it possible that they are still being flushed out? Also this is her second de-wormer. Does it take a few rounds before they are completely gone?

I like the picture lol.

The vet wormed her. And they were hookworms it looks like.
