Over the river and through the woods...
I love thunderstorms, but I will say some have made me a little nervous. I was driving home from work one night, and the road went between a creek and a moutain (no room to pull off). I literally ran into the storm in that 3 mile area and had lightning hitting the creek, and the road in front of me. At that point, I was praying to God to just let me get home safely! I was making every deal I could think of. Turns out, this storm also created small tornadoes that touched down a few places but no major damage.

I actually got to see a lightning storm from above when I was flying back from Texas at night. It was the COOLEST thing! Most of what I saw was cloud to cloud lightning, I couldn't tell if there was any ground to cloud lightning, but it was beautiful! I was lucky enough to have a window seat, and I completely forgot about the on-board movie. Of course, the guy next to me was fascinated too so he kept leaning over to look out my window.
It wouldn't have bad if he was cute, but well, he wasn't. Awesome show Mother Nature put on that night though!

I like them, so long as i don't have to drive in them and i can be home to relax and listen.

Mostly I love them. They are soothing to me (and my animals don't mind either). When I was a child, I really liked to stand outside and watch the clouds before and during storms. My parents didn't like this due to lightening of course, but I was so fascinated.

On the whole, I love them. I can think of a couple of times Rob and I jumped in the car and followed one -- it was neat.
Only once was I really nervous, a bunch of years ago now, when I was living in a basement suite. My landlords who lived upstairs were away and it was just Shasta and me in the house. I woke to the storm, did as I usually do: looked at the clock to see the time, and realized the power was out. Got up to pay a visit to Mother Nature, and while standing in the hallway, saw a lightning strike in the back yard, mere feet from the house. Just a little too close for comfort. I didn't sleep any more that night.

I love them! The only time I get a little scared is when it thunders so loud that you can feel the house rumble.. that always makes me jump a bit.

We don't have them.....but it freaks me out when we have a little lightning.
DH is from Kansas, he says he misses lightning.

I love thunderstorms! Although I'm not too thrilled when they wake me up in the middle of the night, and I have to get up at 4 am to get ready for work. I love to sit out in the sunporch and watch the lightning. Maggie is terrified of it though, and hides in the false ceiling in the basement. She'll stay there for hours after the storm has passed. Cleo and Lola couldn't care less about the thunder and lightning. They'll stay with me on the porch through the entire storm!

Thunderstorms kind of scare me. When there's thunder and lightening I run around turning electric things off and unplugging. When I'm done with that, I keep a light on in my room, curl up with my babies (the furry kind, of course) and read or write.
When it's raining and there's no thunder or lightening I go out and run around and dance in it.

They definitely scare me!
When I was young I was home alone and we had a really bad storm. Lightning hit the electrical tranformer on the pole near my house.
I was terrified and ran to the neighbors. I locked myself out of the house as well.

I love them! I've been known to go out on the front porch until they get close. The only time I'm not so thrilled is in the middle of the night because sometimes the lightning and thunder will startle me.
