I got a Bengal kitty a few months ago and am just curious about how big males can get?
I took him to the vet for some more shots and he weighrd in at 11.6 pounds, AT 7mos. old! No fat at all just all muscle
Ive been looking around and most at that weight are around 11 mos. old.
How Big do they get!??
The vet said he could possibly go 22-25 lbs. +

I'll try to get a pic up soon

Thanks

Normal adult weight for a bengal male is 11 to 18 pounds. Anything over that is not the norm, but certainly possible.

I was getting concerned about that a couple months ago when my female Bengal weighed in at 11.4 pounds at 10 months old. She recently went to the vet for her yearly visit and has started to level out(I think). She weighed in at 12 pounds.

I know her daddy is a big boy he weighs 17 pounds!

Sometimes it just has to do with the individual cat. We have 2 Siamese who are full brother and sister - he weighs close to 20 lbs, she is around 10 lbs. The difference in size is very noticeable.

The cat is huge.... his feet are as big around as a half dollar or silver dollar.
I saw some tracks in the front yard and thought it was a Bobcat (we have them around here) but it was his print.
I wonder if I get him fixed if he will get even bigger. But in the same breath I might want to breed him so havnt decided that yet...

So this is a cat you found then? Not a pedigreed Bengal with papers, purchased with breeding rights?

If that's the case you certainly should neuter him, and soon or he will start spraying.
