My new kitten Zoe, who is now 6 months old, must not like water, or likes to play with it too much because he is now flipping his water dish over every couple of days. He also sloshes most of the water out of his brother Miles' dish too. I do make sure to refill them when I see that she has done this and I'm planning on getting new water dishes this weekend. Probably heavy metal dog dishes that he will have trouble flipping and moving around.

You might get a fountain. It sounds to me like he LIKES playing with his water, LOL!

That's exactly what I was thinking.
Zoe is a guy? Maybe you should explain to him that there are droughts in this country and he needs to conserve water.

Oooops, typo. Zoe is a she. Very used to typing he since I had a lone male cat for quite a while.
I am testing out new bowls, and so far so good as far as the mess. I would be afraid that a fountain would just provide more water for her to spill since even when she doesn't flip the dish, she tends to splash it allover the floor/carpet.
