My Sister has to make a Hard Choice about her Rat

The Vet called my Sister toda. Here is part of the text.

bad_kitty2001: Say hes ok but hes not

mews2much: what will you do
bad_kitty2001: Gave me choice to continue or pts bad_kitty2001: I said try one more day. He said cuz yesterday was a stressful day and antibiotics take time

bad_kitty2001: He said treatment one more day then i may need to go up there tom
She dosent want to have him Pts but she might have no choice.
What do you think she should do.
She has been crying all day.

She did love him alot and has been crying alot. Her friend offered to buy her another Rat yesterday before he died. She hasnt even cleaned his cage because its to hard.

I'm so sorry to hear that... I know how much those little ratties can mean...
