Naia has joined in on the race for 104,108 points by using the word other. Marianjela actually used three of the secret words but only the first one counts and that was much. Luvmycat got a break when the kats decided that trying would be OK (the actual word was try but all conjugations and tenses are accepted. Wish and because were not used. Imagine nobody using because! (Wasn't that a Beatle song?)

First, were you aware of the siggy size restrictions and where to find them? Were you aware of how to find the size of a siggy or other types of pictures? Do you ever go and look at people's profiles and any links they may provide? Have you ever clicked on other people's siggies and looked at the properties? Finally, you will have to look at today's KatKwiz at the photo provided by Cocoa Cream. What is your opinion of how this picture was produced?

Yes I'm aware of the size restriction but can't remember them off hand. I'd have to look them up if I ever wanted to review them. I do know how to find the size of a signature and other pictures. I look at other members profiles but usually don't visit any links in them. I don't think I've ever looked at the size of someone elses siggy. I think the signature in todays Katkwiz is pretty decent for a first time siggy. I like the wood style background.

Yes, I knew the rules about signature size and for posting photos. There is a thread somewhere with all that information, although I don't feel like going to the trouble of looking it up right now!
I occasionally look at people's profiles just for fun, especially if they seem to be someone important around the forums or if they have some things in common with me. I guess I've never clicked on anyone's signature, no. I still need to make mine, but I haven't had time yet. As far as the signature I found, I was wondering if you had pictures of each cat individually laying on that same flooring and somehow cut and pasted them together? It doesn't look like they were actually laying that way for real!

Yeah I got in trouble for the whole siggy thing many of times so I got a good idea where to find the restrictions!
Check every post Ive ever made about them!
No but seriously, if you go to the signature request thread there is rules on how big the signatures can be and how many bytes and all that good stuff! I always right click on the picture and then go to properties which tells me if its too big or not! Its pretty handy really, now if I could only figure out how to condence them myself Id be set! Very rarely do I go look at peoples profiles, I have however looked at yours several million times... Okay maybe and over exaggeration but its been alot! Im always trying to figure out the answer to something through there! I dont know, it looks like it was produced so its all good by me! So what if they took a guess! It was right and thats what matters! Ive guessed a good number of times!
It looks like a siggy to me, although the cats dont really look like they're together, for some reason to me it looks like two pictures were combined to get it! So Id of picked the one that Weldworm picked because it does look more like the cats are together to me, and Id of probably done that without checking the properties just because thats the way I am sometimes!

Thanks again Lee! I really went on and on yesterday, guess my mind couldnt figure out which way it was going!

I am aware of the signature size restrictions, actually the first siggy I ever made was over the limit and ended up getting eaten! Actually, I think it was within the limits when I made it three years ago, but had since changed, and when I came back it was over the limit? Maybe. Sounds good anyway. I also know how to find out how big an image is in physical size and memory/bytes-wise. When I'm checking out other people's signatures or posted pictures, I right click on the photo then choose properties to see the qualities. I've done this a couple times for various reasons.

I check out member profiles often. If I see a new member, or if I meet someone with similar interests or find someone that has a lot in common with me. I've have also checked out posted links. From blogs, to off-site cat pages to family pages. I love learning about the people we are make friends with and interacting with on a daily basis. I've also been known to go and read past posts made by certain folks, especially if I'm bored.

As for the signature that Cocoa Cream posted on the Kwiz, I imagine that it was made with layers. I guess that the author/artist took two separate pictures, deleted the background - or just selected the cats with perhaps the lasso tool and pasted them into a new file - maybe with Photosphop or a program like that, then placed them on the woven background. Each cat being it's own entity sitting on top of the background layer, then added the text. But in order to ensure the signature was in accordance with the rules, it was placed on a canvas no bigger than 600 X 150 then saved down to the file-size needed. Creating a signature with layers makes it easier if you want to change it later. Like if you want to use the same cats or images, all you have to do is go in and change the background image. You can also add or delete text as needed, or even add more animals or people!

Can you tell I love to work with Photoshop???

Well, I went on enough once again. See ya tomorrow!

...oh - and - "BECAUSE"

yes - i've actually bookmarked that info in case i need to provide a link for someone! i'm able to determine sig sizes using my PC at school, but not w/my mac
right clicking doesn't perform the same function. not sure i understand your last question, tho... do you mean how she found it, or how she posted it - or how it was created?

Congats to the winners!
That was very nice of Persi and Alley to allow conjugations.

I'm just sad because when I signed on before work, the KatKwiz wasn't up yet, and when I signed on during lunch, it was already won! At least I have the KatKwery, which I stand a much better chance at, anyway.

Yes, I was aware of the signature size restrictions. So I must've known at one time where to find them! Actually, I'm pretty sure that I found them via a link that another kind member PMed to me!

For once, I can say yes, I have done something! I have looked at people's profiles. The only reason I've used it is in giving gifts. I like to give gifts that people don't have, and I think that not all their gifts show up on the posts if they have too many, so I have looked at profiles to check what they have. But no, I haven't ever clicked on anyone's links. Links scare me. I clicked one once (not from this site, from Google of all places!) and it downloaded a virus... Now I am very cautious!

No, I can't recall ever looking at someone's signature's properties. Can't think of any reason I would!

The signature that won the KatKwiz looks to me like something made in Paint or anoter photo shop type program. I would have done that by simply copying and pasting. Though admittedly, it looks like a higher quality than I could have done in Paint, so I'm not sure!
