Poor Polly got stuck with a girl's name. We'd named all the kittens before we knew who were boys and who were girls, he is a polydactyl kitty and thus we called him Polly. He answers to Polly, Paulie, Polly-boy and Mr Paws.

Here he is as a wee kitty:

What a handsome boy!
I doubt he minds being "Polly", but "Paulie" sounds the same, and looks a bit more masculine.

I would love to have seen Asim as a tiny little kit (I got him at about 4 months) to see those big ol paws, I bet he was stunning.

Polly looks like he has mittens on. He has an extra toe on each paw, for a total of 22 toes! He has been known to grasp things with them and certainly has superior climbing and clinging abilities on the cat tree. Last week, I saw him hanging almost upside down under the platform on the tree to "attack" his sister, who was sitting unawares on the platform.
Silly kitties!
