Activists in San Francisco want to name a water treatment plant after George W. Bush. They call it satire, I think it's funny.

That reminds me of the movie "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" where King Richard says (something to the effect of), "From now on, all Toilets in the land shall be referred to as Johns" (because the one of the bad guys was named John)

San Francisco, my favorite city!

I'm surprised they didn't name it after the United States military that they hate so much. How about the United States Army Sewage Plant.

I enjoy harping on politicians as much as the next person, but this doesn't show any respect for man OR office. This shenanigan is just way too over the top.

I do think it is funny but I can get where you are coming from.

How do the Clinton's keep creeping into these threads? If McCain wins and he is a failure will that still be Clinton's fault? I can't stand Slick Willy but it gets absurd after awhile.

Can you believe this? It actually made it onto a ballot!

I was sure this stunt would die off.

Renaming Sewage Plant makes it onto Ca Ballot

This is a local San Francisco ballot not a California state ballot. I won't get a vote, I'm sorry to say. I still think it's funny.
