Hi,
I'm new here and was wondering if anyone could help identify what breed my cat is. He craves attention and will follow us around to see what you are doing. He is always waiting at the door when we return home as well. He is also not aggressive and won't swat at my dog that likes to play with him. He'll just walk away. He tends to usually sleep on his back and can sit on command.

Welcome to TCS!! I'm not a cat expert, but your cat might be a MaineCoon cross. My JC is an MC purebred and has the same boxy muzzle, the ruff, fluff tail & britches. JC also has the "ear tufts" and his back has a top layer of coarse hairs (almost like horsehair) that shed rain beautifully (if only he was allowed outside as much as he'd like to be). JC also has big, round paws with fur between the pads that act like excellent snowshoes. JC also has that laid-back, doglike personality. Sounds like you have an awesome treasure of a cat Susan

Wow! he is gorgeous!! Not sure what he might be mixed with, but w/o papers, he would be considered a domestic longhaired cat.
