There's a quote about truth verses lies, and I do NOT remember it properly, but I need it for my thesis.

I'm pretty sure it's famous, and may substitute other words for truth or lie, like "falsehood" etc.

It rhymes, and runs along the lines of 'A truth in a cell is a truth just the same, a lie on a throne a lie remains' - anyone?

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Is this it:

A lie on the throne is a lie, still, and truth in a dungeon is truth, still; and a lie on the throne is on the way to defeat, and truth in a dungeon is on the way to victory.

I don't know WHO the quote is by, however.

I found it exactly as you show it there (in someone's signature in a forum), attributed to someone called J.D. Adams.

Then I googled J.D. Adams and got an American Idol contestant.

Yeah, I remember that guy...if memory serves, and it does, that guy would never be able to cobble together a quote like that!
