How to get my kitten to start eating raw food?

Hi guys,

I recently bought Nature's Variety raw food ( Venison ). She really loves NV Instinct ( Venison ) so that's why I got the venison version of raw food. I tried to offer the raw food to her but she just sniffed and walked away. I even tried warming it up a bit by putting it in a ziplock bag and submerging it in warm water, but she still didn't bother. What can I do to get my kitten to start eating the raw food?

That would be a question for Sharky! I do know that once a cat gets used to eating things other than raw diet that sometimes they dont like the raw!

You have to incorporate the raw to her current food very very gradually. Little bits at a time. You could also try cutting up the raw into teeny tiny pieces before mixing it in the food.

Where did you buy the NV Instinct (venison)?

Some will eat it right off ... venison might be a issue flavor wise unless they have been eating a venison based food...

for those that dont eat it right off thaw and mix with wet food or use warm water ( NOT HOT ) till you get a mushy raw
