I've tried different dry foods and she doesn't touch them. So after doing some reading here I got her some Wellness canned. I got the Chicken, Turkey and Beef&Chicken Formulas. I got the 5oz cans I give her half in the morning and the rest at night. She'll eat a little leave it and eat a little later. I'm concerned how long should i leave it out for her to take her time eating. I was thinking of feeding her 3x when I get up, get home and before bed. That way its smaller proportions.

Oh and Abbie is 3yrs old I just adopted her and her old owner died so there was no previous history.

You might try just taking a tablespoon at a time out of the can and mixing it with some yogurt, then put her in a room where she can feel safe to eat. My cat was the same way and turned out she had two problems, first she had asthma and allergies so she couldn't smell very well, cats don't like to eat what they can't smell. Her second problem was that she was so worried about competition from another cat or even human that she couldn't eat. Once she started eating well and began to trust that I wasn't going to take it from her she ate better. I fed her a Tablespoon mixed with the yogurt about 4 times a day and then mixed in some dry food once she ate that up. It's a process and takes time, but you might find that eventually she will just eat like a regular cat in the end. After about 6 mos of that with her she began to eat with my other cats, unless her allergies got really bad then I had to make her a special dish, personally I think she just liked the princess treatment.
