I hope I can get my final bits of weeding done before Thursday nite (to hot/humid/sunny now!)
Anyhow most of the garden club tours the hosts have had some food and drink available. The hard part is I don't know how many people will show up so I am having items that Neil and I can eat/drink. This is an adults only event also.
This is the plan....
Water -not bottled waste of $$ IMO but will have in 2 gallon cooler with ice, Lemonade (not homemade) but will have lemon slices in it and I bought a box of white wine.
Food: watermelon and pineapple slices rinds cut off. I bake these baguette slices with parm cheese, beer dip w/pretzels, cookies -will bake on Thursday am. And a local fav either fresh cheese curds or extra fresh cheddar cheese and tiny summer sausage bites with some sort of crackers.
This is probably overkill but will also be our dinner that night.
