Hello Everyone,

Most of you know me but if you don't I am Tomnus. I am a grey and brown and white mix that was bought from a pet store. I shared my cage with other kiddies and my daddy found me sleeping and we pretty much fell in love at first sight once I woke up. In fact the first thing I did while he was holding me was rip his glasses off his face and chew on the ends of them while purring. He started to laugh while the girl at the store(I don't like her very much) tried to get his glasses back. I then decided to lick and chew on daddies fingers but he didn't like that as much but he didn't seem to mind to much and he tasted so good.

That was 9 months ago and we have bonded since but life with a college student is never dull...thats why I am writing. He stresses me out some times and I figured this would be a good way to deal with the stress.

Its been about a week since I have written so I thought I would take some time to write again. The last week was pretty uneventful and standard. I spent a lot of time sleeping and just lounging around and so did daddy
. I keep telling him he should go out and do something instead of sitting on his butt but he doesn't listen. Its nice to have him home though because it means us guys can spend some time together.

He still seems really stressed out about something and the other day we was up way past his usual bedtime looking at stuff on the computer. When I came out of the bedroom to tell him to come to bed I got picked up and he tried to talk to me about moving. From what I could gather he wants to go to school in Canada once he is done with school here. He isn't sure what to study though and I think its starting to stress him out a little bit. Not to mention the fact that we have no money for housing and I don't really want to move. I like it here and I can tell he does to so I can't understand why were moving.

Lately when he does come to bed I stay by his side until he falls asleep and he sometimes talkes to me. Mostly about his day and about how he has so much work to do the next day. I try to get him up at about 6 every morning but he just ignoes me
. If he is going to complain to me about having a lot to do he should be fine with getting up early.

Anyway he is trying to shoo me away from the computer again so I have to go. I hope he is coming on to do homework because i know he has 2 exams and a quiz this week so he needs to study. If not I will give him an ear full thats for sure.

Hi, Tomnus. I guess I was lucky and got to know my meowmy when she was out of school. But she says you should have access to lots of pencils and paper to play with.
Meowmy also says calculus was developed by mathmeticians who had been in a sensory deprevation chamber for a year.

The best thing you can do is to be there when your daddy needs someone to talk to and hug. Purr in his ear once in a while.

Don't worry Ari I am sure to give him lots of love, and I want to say again I am sorry for your loss. And yes it does mean lots of pencils and paper to play with especially with the amount of mistakes he makes, there are a lot of rolled up paper balls on the floor which I love to play with.

Life has been pretty normal around here. Daddy is still stressed out but classes end for a week and then he has about a month off before he starts the hardest semester of his life. We are heading down to Chicago on Thursday and according to daddy I will be there for about 2 and a half weeks. I think he is leaving to see his girlfriend, and I kind of wish I could come with him but he says its to long in the car for me and that I wouldn't like staying in a hotel.

I get to stay at his parents house with another cat that I like to play with so I can't really complain I just will miss daddy while he is gone. I am also not looking forward to staying with daddy's brother, who now lives with daddy's parents. I just don't trust him, he looks to much like daddy but smells and acts different. And I am also a little worried about daddy's mom who had do have surgery on her leg. Daddy told me to be very careful around her because she can't walk properly yet and I tend to get tangled up in peoples legs and he doesn't want her falling. That and i would feel horrible if I tripped her and she hurt her leg.

He has two final exams on Thursday back to back before we leave so I think he is going to be really stressed out because he has to pack for the trip and study some time this week. I will be sure to give him extra love this week because he will need it. I am going to try and get him to sit down and start reviewing for his finals today so we will see how that goes, he usually just ignores me. He was up bright and early at 6:00 AM which I was a little surprised about but that only increases the likely hood of him taking a nap this after noon. I got to go daddy is giving me new food and I need to give him a hand, I will keep everyone updated.
