As if I didn't have enough kitty problems....

My boy Trouble fell (his name fits him well!) he looks like he has a lump on his side (under his front leg/rib)...What could he have possibly done? I didnt think he fell hard he landed on his feet and rain away. Possible vac site inflamation? Or a bite from the other kitty? She was very moody since my poor Sawyer passed away yesterday...should could have beat him up, lol. My old kitty had the same thing once and it went away in a few days...I would say this is bad luck...but..I'm looking at it that a higher power knew I would take care of the kitties

He was a little annoyed when I touched it, nothing really...it's just weird I didn't notice before. He's still eating and running around like a lunatic

Perhaps it's an umbilical hernia? I would suggest calling the vet and describing it. If it is a hernia, they will tell you what to watch for. If he hasn't been neutered yet, it may be able to be repaired during the neuter surgery, but it's important to know what to watch for in the meantime.
