Now, I'm no cat expert by any stretch of the imagination, but is it "strange" behavior for a female kitten (4 mos) to be suckling at her brother? I just witnessed her do this for the past 40 minutes. When I lifted her up away from him, his chest/belly area was thoroughly soaked! The kittens were taken from mom when they were 14 weeks and this is the first time (that I know of) that this has happened. And in case anyone asks, yes, I know the difference between a male and female!

Thanks!

yes it is common, they do it for comfort. They have no understanding of the fact that it is her own brother so it might be kind of weird. Just like they can also mate starting around now if they aren't fixed either, so just to keep that in mind if they aren't. I wouldn't let them be together too much longer.

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely going to get them both "fixed" as these two are life long partners here!
