Hello

I have been seeing this cat in my backyard for a while, the wierd thing is its friends with all 3 of my cats. Like it sits with them eats with them but until it sees me it darts off and vanishes. I was wondering how can i get this cat to come stay around while im outside? Also What should i do? Should i keep feeding it or should i call a shelter? It is totally wild so no one could keep this as a pet. In the past i have taken in stray cats i thought were wild at first but until i met this cat I never knew what "WILD" was lol This cat acts just like a wild fox or coon! My cats are so fussy i can't believe they let this wild cat sit and eat with them! IT was shocking but I guess something about this wild cat my cats really like? Any ideas what I should do???

I don't mind feeding it 4 now i know its hungry because everytime at dusk it shows up to eat then takes a look at me and runs away. I need to take food away at night I dont want coons and foxes eating it

I am kinda confused I really dont want another cat but this is not just a homeless cat this is a wildcat so I am a bit torn I mean i would hate to have someone trap it and kill the poor thing?

I live in the No. Va area near DC.
Provide a shelter in your yard for kitty. Continue to feed. Slowly, slowly allow it to become used to you being around when you feed. It will learn to come back to the food if you move away after putting food down, and then sit with back to the food. After you accomplish this, try to trap the poor cat to neuter and spay, and then release back to your yard area. Get a TNR group to help out - if you don't know where to find one pm Hissy or other memebers of this board for help. There ARE resources out there to assist you. And bless you for taking care of this little one. And PS. cats form friendships and likes/dislikes in funny ways with other cats. Its great your cats tolerate/like this one.
Take him/her under your wing by all means!
