QFT. On either side, it's dangerous to just listen to Rush Limbaugh or <whatever equivalent liberal>. Or one news channel. Or one country's news, for that matter. I like to read CNN, the BBC, a couple news sites in Spanish aimed at Latin America, the local news, and every now and then throw in some al-Jazeera or Xinhua or whatever (mostly as a means of seeing their perspective, not because I necessarily think it's true).
It's amazing how differently things get reported. Most recently I remember, Mugabe told Britain to go eat it (cleaned up a bit) after criticizing the not-election, but the BBC reported it as him saying that in general of the West while American news reported it as him saying it mainly to Britain. This sort of thing is even evident if you compare, say, Fox to anything else.
