I had an ultrasound and it confirmed what I didn't want to admit to myself... the earlier bleeding I'd had resulted in a miscarriage.

I was SO happy to be pregnant, I didn't want to let myself accept the suspicion I'd had about the bleeding. I was 6 weeks in when it happened, and got "confimation" at what would have been 8 weeks.

I don't want to be not pregnant. I want a family, a baby...

I know how you feel. I had a miscarriage before I got pregnant for our wonderful daughter. My doctor told me not to be sad, that the baby was probably not forming correctly and my body did what it needed to do. Just take care of your body, get back in shape and you'll be pregnant again before you know it. That's how it happened with me and I had an absolute wonderful pregnancy - not one sick day.

Losing a baby is tragic, you will always remember it. I went through something much more tragic at the end of last year. But it was for the best, we will start trying once we get settled and after the wedding.

I'm so sorry about the loss of the baby. Very unfortunately these things do happen, but you're young and can try again. I'm sending you lots of for a much better outcome next time.

I am so, so sorry to hear of your great loss. Your heart is broken and there is nothing I can say, though I wish I could, to make that better now.
I wish you peace in your time of sorrow.
