Of the new enclosed porch, or "lanai" as my wife calls it. (It's hard to forget 15 years of living in Hawaii)

We can hardly coax them back into the house now. They love being out in the fresh air, even though that air is pretty hot and humid in early July in the Carolina's.

I'm thinking this was an excellent investment for us (no bugs) and for the cats regardless of why they like it so much.

Here are few pics of some of them enjoying the new improved space.

Titan: "What? No, I'm not chewing on the palm tree, you told me not to 500 times already!"

Spellbound: "This is soooo comfy...who needs A/C?"

Spellbound & Ares: "Do I know you? This bench is mine!"

Ares:"Like I said, this bench is all mine"

Spellbound:"Yeah ok, I don't see you claiming it now"

So the porch is on the back where your old porch was, or did you open up the kitten room?

I LOVE that bench - saw a handmade basket today, made from a single hunk of wood and though of you.

They are gorgeous! Love how you've turned that space into a cat haven

Awwww, and don't DARE tell them that you didn't buy it specifically for THEM, LOL, or you will be bannished from going on your own porch!

Judging from the bench & cat tree, I'd say it was made just for them!

I know it's not my place to answer for Nial, but I believe his is like a screened in porch, basically outside, but with screens instead of glass windows, where as, I believe your conservatory is inside with glass windows, much like we in the US would call a Sun Room.

We enclosed the old porch at the back of the house. Kitten room is still intact, but all we have to do is open the door and they can all have access to new space.
It's a big hit.

Thanks for confirming that Hope

No, our conservatories are not inside. It's an extra room that gets built onto the back of the house where i can get access through my kitchen, like this...

Susan, ours is somewhat similar to yours then, as we have access from our den, with two door access from either side on the outside. The major difference being the roof is windowless and solid and the sides are screened rather than glass. The only glass is on the 2 doors.
