My cat is trying to pull me out of bed!

My 7 month old aby kitten sleeps under the covers next to me every night. Well, the last few weeks my mornings have become very interesting. Once she's ready for meowmy to get up and feed her, she typically walks around my head, crying and butting into it and flopping around on her back for attention. Well this morning she crossed the line by biting onto my ear and literally trying to drag me out of bed. Then she takes a little nibble of my hair and shakes it like a kill for a second.

I tried covering my head with the sheet but when I did all hell broke loose. She went into full attack mode, grabbing on, biting and bunny kicking my face. I think she thought I was trying to play with her. I quickly took the sheet off and the headbutting/rolling/meowing started up all over again. Silly kitty!

So how does your cat wake you up?

Mine usually sleeps around me, mostly next to my pillow.
What she does weekdays is, she starts licking on my face if I don't wake up after alarm goes off. Sometimes she sits right next to my face, doing the same just before alarm goes off. One time, she somehow pulled off the sheet off from me as if saying "hey, wake up & get out from bed!".
I must say I've 2 alarm clocks waking me up in the morning. Very convenient, indeed. She does not do anything on weekends, though.

Lucky you! Mine doesn't know the difference yet.

I get bitten on the nose lightly, aggressively kneaded on, she gets in my face meowing and licking. I cured her of it by picking her up and putting her out of the room every time she did it. She has stopped.

My one boy has been head butting me for 10 years weekdays and weekends, or he'll sit right up to my face and wait. When he sees my eyes open he'll start to move away, when he sees my eyes close again he comes back. I haven't used an alarm clock in 10 years.

tiger stands beside my bed and meows very loudly almost like says "Hey i'm up so you get up to!!"

Mine usually sleep until I get up, they know if they wake me up I'll get mad and make them wait on their breakfast until I make coffee.
Fred used to steal my earplugs and stick his nose in my ear. Georgia would bat at my eyebrow piercings.

That's what my older cat does. While laying there you start getting this weird feeling like you're being watched.

Katie and Claire just give me the "the stare" if I don't give up. Gracie gently bites my nose and ears. Pete starts by standing on me and sticking his nose in my eyes. If that doesn't work, he pulls my hair.

Mecha jumps onto the t.v, she knows this will wake me up instantly (I am a very light sleeper and the t.v makes a small noise when she lands on it)
but if it doesnt wake me up she knocks the aerial down off of the t.v.
and if I ignore that she comes onto the bed and meows all upset sounding at me lol
and if that fails she attacks me, very agressively
