I have no idea what his deal is! He's been so good until this past week. He's been marking outside then peeing a river inside! It's always on my kitchen floor, until today I was cleaning it with bleach, but now I'm cleaning it with urine remover.

Anyone have any idea what is going on with him?

How old is he? Is he neutered?
Have you been praising him all along for peeing outside?
Did something happen outside while he was peeing or on a walk to scare him?
Was he confined for too long in the kitchen?
Was he maybe asking to go out while he was in the kitchen and when no one came, he peed there?
Is there a door in the ktichen that he goes out of when he needs to pee?

Sorry so many questions, but it could be any number of things so maybe this will help narrow it down.

He's 10 months old and he's not neutered yet
I know I know! Once I get my student loan he will be fixed.

Nothing happened outside, and I did get pretty bad at praising him. I'm now praising him every time he pees outside.

He's never confined in the kitchen and their isn't a door outside from the kitchen. I have no idea why he has chosen to pee in there.

Is it because he's not neutered yet? I wondered if it was, but he marks outside and pees a ton in the kitchen. I took him to my mom's house and my granny's house yesterday and he never peed in their houses, and we were down there all day!

That's what I wondered too. I know we talk about cats getting UTIs a lot, but I didn't know if dogs did and what the symptoms were.

They do develop UTIs so you might want to have a urinalysis done.

He is the equivalent of a boy just reaching puberty so this is when they start to mark. If you get him neutered, that won't stop, but it should be easier to train out of him.

Praise him when he pees outside and don't stop. They do sometimes regress so a kind word of praise does wonders.
