8 weeks today, and I can hardly wait!!!

She is doing wonderful. She is napping and we have 4 nursing, I really feel like there are at least 2 more, as I feel the bumps..

This is the stats... She was acting funny, meowing ALOT, searching about my room, I put her in the baby box, and she laid there for a little bit. She got back out and she was trying to jump into the back of my closet which is a negative as I can't get back there. So I blockaded it off, all while fighting her off from trying to escape back there meowing the whole time. Then I moved her for the final time, and she started panting. I put her in her box again, and she stayed.. laid down... back up.. and then the contractions started, she expelled some discharge... which I was not prepared for, as it kind of just squirted out. So, anyway.

Kitten 1 was born at 11:50pm she took over and did as she was supposed to do. Kitten 1 is pure black and pretty good sized.

Kitten 2 was born at 12:17am and again, Murphy did as she was supposed to do. Kitten 2 is black with a white chin, belly, paws, and the very tip of it's tail is white. We are lovingly calling that one Tipper.

Kitten 3 was born at 12:43 am... same routine... and this kitten is the very color of Murphy except it's got no white... it looks to be solid grey.

Murphy then nursed the 3 kittens and napped.

Kitten 4 was born at 2:32 am.... Murphy snapped into action, and this kitten is also pure black!

I think I still feel at least one more, and the last ones were almost 2 hours apart, so here I sit, tired and wired at the same time... waiting.

I am holding out hope that one will look like the Siamese daddy. =o)

I'll upload pictures later, after all birthing is over and I get some sleep. As of this moment, all 4 are nursing and Murphy is passed OUT!

When Lucia had hers I thought there was one more but she was just kind of lumpy inside right after giving birth.

I am so happy for you. Get some rest and pics soon as you can. How exciting.
4 is a good manageable number. Lucia is just exhausted from the constant nursing. Expect her to be a little tired.

YAY Murphy!! Very exciting. So glad its all over for you and everything went well. Cant wait to see the cuties.

As for me........Im just heading out the door to go out of town to pick up my kids, I've waited this whole time to be a part of the birth of the kittens and now i gotta leave town!!!!! Im choked....so now I'm hoping she holds out till tomorrow. I am only spending one night so cross fingers i make it back in time!!!

Oh yeah........NO im not leaving her home alone, Hubby will be home but I am the one who wanted to be there...

Wait 2 more days Buttons....PLEASE!!

Yannow, we said that we were going to keep ONE... and now... my daughter is in love with the grey one... and we like Tip. (black and white.. with white tip on his tail) And nowwwwwwww, the biggest one doesn't look pure black, he almost looks striped. I know they are all going to grow on me tremendously, they already have. It's sure going to be hard to get rid of them... But, we have planned as of right now, to keep ONE. We will see in the next 8 weeks if that changes.

And thanks for providing pix when she was in labor!! It helps me out with mine, as I'm waiting for Duchess to go on labor as well. I know the anxious feeling!!

I took a TON of pics of the birthing... but some are kind of graphic, and I didn't want to offend anyone. This was the first time I've ever seen this, and I wanted ALOT of pics! =o)

Way to go Murphy!!!

She looks like she did great and having you there with her every step of the way. The kittens look very health.

Also I would have a hard time giving up that gray one and the black and white one. Actually all of them.LOL

They seem very healthy. I thought they were small, but you have all reassured me! These pics show just how round the little bellies are! They are nursing ALL the time. Murphy now comes out a little more, and gets a break. All seems to be doing really well.

I have birthing pictures too, but I figured they were too graphic as well. It's more of a bloody mess than anything, but I reserved those for my personal enjoyment LOL.
