Have you checked with your own vet if they'll work something out for you regarding fixing your boys now maybe if the low cost places aren't working out? A friend rescued a kitten, found out she was actually a very scrawny, but pregnant, 9 month old, and her vet was wonderful about stretching out payments, etc, for all the visits and procedures involved for mom and the eventual 5 kittens. I guess it helped she had been a steady client with her now RB kitties, but it never hurts to ask.

In any event, bless you both, and best wishes for a good delivery and a healthy mom and kits.
TY Very much. I know some people are thinking... "How can you not know the difference?" I have never had cats before, and it isn't just as easy as looking at a dog. They are very different. I will call Monday and see what they say. I sure hope they will work something out for me. Thanks again!

Welp. Here we sit... day 61... 8 days away from my bday.. and I want to see these KITTENS! I keep trying to pep talk her, and she just stares at me like. "you want me to do what?!" hahaha... We have to go today to my son's baseball Championship game, and I sure hope she don't decide to do ANYTHING til I'm home!!! I'm getting so excited that I can barely contain myself.

HAHA - thats exactly what I have been doing with my girl..trying to coax her into just having the kittens already cause I cant take the waiting anymore!! lol
My girl is due according to the vet somewhere around the 9th....so only 3 more days left!!!
I dont even want to leave the house anymore in fear that i will miss it or that she will have some problems and i wont be around to do what is needed to be done..........I think my hubby thinks im losing my mind!! lol........and the worst part of it all is that I think i'll have some major "kissin up" to do as I have hubby sleepin on the couch so I can lock myself my bedroom with her...lol

Here is Murphy.... she seems to be getting bigger by the day. She seems pretty uncomfortable, and she has trouble getting up to walk! =o) Reminds me of when I was pregnant! I sure hope that this all happens soon!~ Seeing everyone else's birth stories and pics of kittens make me want it NOW!!! I am so glad I found this forum. I'd be delirious without it!

How many little ones do you think may be in there?! I mean, of course just judging from size? I always thought 3... and now, I am thinking perhaps 5.

I say 8 since it is the trend! She is doing what Lucia was doing. Laying on her side like that. Just a few more days. I was crazy with anticipation. It will only be hours now.

OMIGOSH! I like to be trendy, but I dunno if I wanna follow this trend! This will not only be Murphy's first litter, but my first too!

I know with Mia since she is so small I thought she would only have 3, she had 5...so just be ready....does seem to be the trend to have 8. LOL just be ready with lots of love and support.

Mia just is getting her energy level back up. I weighed her after giving birth and she was under 7 lbs. She is now just over 7 lbs but still a scrawny little thing...

If I had to guess I would say Murphy has 6 to 7 furry little ones on the way! I am sure it will be any day now specially if the glands are swollen.

Can't wait to see pictures!!!

that's 2 lbs of kittens and placentas and some extra fluids...I'd have to say a minimum of 5. Though if the trend contiues, you might want to prepare to supplement...I have bought some KMR from the vet...I had no idea it was 10 bux a can!!! Anyway, I've got a couple cans for the just-in-case scenario. I have a feeling though, I will be supplementing in a couple weeks or less.

Yeah, we will see. I don't think it will be too far off. She's acting a little strangely tonight. Meowing alot.. and when she isn't doing that... she is meowing. And watching her lay down.... ohhhh poor girl.. she just like.. Falls over.

Yep Lucia would kind of clumsily tilt until she met the ground. She was too big to be elegant about it anymore. She is so tiny without the kittens in her now.

Ok, so it's 3 am... day 64... And no sign of the babies. They are moving around alot tho! Her nipples are protruding more today and are more swollen around the base...and they are sooooo pink, almost a red. She's been laying around alot, and made her way into the baby bed a few times today! Gosh, it's so hard to just watch.. and wait! Ino it will be soon, but I just can barely contain myself!!

Oh yes! I will be a posting fool once I get to start snapping pictures of the little ones! =o) I just got home from my sons baseball game, and I prayed the whole time that she wouldn't have them when I wasn't there... and luckily enough, she didnt! =o) She is in and out of her kitten box ALOT tonight, and TONS of meowing. Darn it, Murph! Let's do this!!

I just happened along this thread, so congrats on the upcoming kittens! Cats can go until 69 days, I believe; not sure if I read that anywhere here!
