Yesterday's winners were luvmycat1 with thought and laureen227 with some. Trick, speed, and yet were not used.

Reminder: KatKwery remains open until the next KatKwiz is posted.

Reminder: Reading the KatKwiz answer may be helpful in winning at KatKwery.

Reminder: Clicking on KatKwery Standings in the siggy below gives you the very latest standings in the race towards 102,000 or more points.

Have you ever/never given any thought to what the colored envelopes meant? Have you ever read the descriptions? Were you aware there were "mouse over" information bits around TCS like this? Now that you know, will you be influenced to make sure you read the "hot threads"? OK, are you going to go around now looking for more secret information?

I've always known what the envelopes were but never read the discription. I do the mouse over on threads just to see how the thread starts out. I had my mouse arrow on the evelopes too, but I was trying to click them and I wasn't paying attention to the description. Whether a thread is hot or not doesn't influence my decision to read it. I might just have to hunt for more secret info now.

i rarely bother to look at the envelope color - i post/read threads in which the subject appears interesting. i never bothered to read the descriptions for the same reason. i was aware of the 'mouse over' info - you can hover over a thread title & see the first words of the first sentence in the thread. sometimes that helps me decide whether to open the thread when the title is not enough. like i said - don't really care if the thread is 'hot' unless i think i have something to say on the subject - or i think i'll enjoy/learn from reading about it.
probably not going to bother 'looking' for secret info - got more stuff to do than there are hours in the day, already!

I knew about the different colors of envelopes but I didn't know about the mousing over. I never even thought about it! I don't always read the "hot threads" just what catches my fancy. I will be trying to find more secret information when I find the time. I have been so busy lately that I can hardly think straight. Getting Cable TV for the first time in 10 years doesn't help either!

At first I was like, "what envelopes?" ROFL Shows you how much attention I pay. But of course, I have seen them, but really havent paid attention to their color, although, I dont think HOT topics influence my reading much. On bored days maybe
I use the mouse-over feature ALL_the_time. This is what catches my eye on weather to open a topic sometimes, especially on busy days when my time is limited. As for going around and looking for more secret treasures... not likely... at least not now... today is not one of those days I have much time online.

I did know that the envelope color was significant, but I didn't know the actual statistics. I remember being surprised that some personal thing I posted had a red envelope. I felt very loved and supported because it was kind of a big deal to me, and a lot of people read and responded.

I used to wonder what they were as a matter of fact, but it never occured to me to do a mouse over, that is, until I started searching for KatKwiz questions. I do not let a thread marked as hot determine which threads I look at becuase the posting date is not taken into consideration. In other words, a thread viewed 150 times in 7 days would still be marked as a hot thread whereas a thread viewed 149 times in the last one day would not be. Yes, I am still trying to find all the secret information, and as I find it, you can expect another KatKwiz.
