Yesterday's winners: moxaxlisa used nobody and luvmycat1 used first. date, every, and never not used.

Well, do you think the KatKwiz today was preconceived on Saturday? Did you ever think the old low post record of 53 winning a KatKwiz would ever be broken? How was that even possible; will the 47 low post record ever be broken? If you ever pay a lot of money (points) to make your username/usertitle in colors, will you ever go out of your way so that YOU do not see the colors in your usertitle/username? Do you know now why you would do that or check any of the other hide boxes in that category?

I'm sure you had an idea about that post becoming a Katkwiz. I think it's great that a newbie broke the lowest post record on winning. The new one might get broken someday, it's hard to say. I thought you had to be a paying member to make your username/title in colors. I don't think I would ever want to hide them even if they aren't in colors. I checked hide signatures during the shamrock hunt contest because I kept getting them confused with siggies that had just one shamrock in them.

no, you seemed truly confused in your original thread that you posted... you may have tried it to see what would happen, in the hopes that a KatKwiz idea would be generated... but you really didn't seem to know WHAT you'd done to achieve it. the low post record will most likely be broken at some poin {IMO}. obviously, i paid for mine - but i like looking at them, so i'd never INTENTIONALLY do anything to disable them... other than using a browser that doesn't show my shadows, that is.
i can't think of any reason i, personally, would choose to be invisible, or any of the other hiding functions. haven't had any problems that using the 'ignore' function hasn't solved. i can see why YOU do it, tho.

I don't think it was preconceived, but Im sure it occured to use it in the Kwiz as soon as it happened.

I didnt know you kept records of it! Im sure someone will come along eventually and give the record a challenge.

Yes, in case the site is loading slowly or something like that. Usually I dont even notice the fancy titles though so I dont think it is something that I'll ever try (turning that option off).

I dont think you knew it was going to be a question on saturday, because Im pretty sure you were still confused then!
I knew that someone would go and win who had just happened to stumble upon it! Good work! I went to alot of trouble to get my enhancments so I want to be able to see them! It would stink if I couldn't and confuse me! Ive used the invisiable mode before, Im using it right now actually, Im too lazy to go back and change it right now!
The siggys might be good to take off sometimes when you want to be able to see more posts on one page! Ya know I actually had to read the katkwiz today to be able to answer anything! Who'd a though!

I'm pretty sure you were genuinely confused when everything first disappeared, but I imagine after you figured it out and posted about it, the idea to use it as a Kwery came to you pretty quickly! I am impressed that a newbie found KatKwiz and won so quickly, but I do think that the record can and will be broken as long as the Kwiz is in existence. The hardest part for me to win the Kwiz is being on at the right time or before someone else already wins it. I've pretty much given up trying, and appreciate that the Kwery is now in a separate thread and allows me a chance to get in on the fun!

If I paid to change the appearance of my user name or title I dont think I would ever hide it - heck I didnt pay for, but I worked hard to earn the right to get my animated avatar and I dont think I would ever want to hide that! and it was free. I enjoy seeing the varied configurations people display with their posts, it's part of the attraction of this site.


I suppose if you were having slow load times, disabling or hiding those features would/could come in handy, and aside from hiding out in Lee's case or maybe on a work computer or a computer that doesnt allow certain things or hangs, I cant think of any other reason to use that feature, but it's nice to have.
